Profile

Engineering has been part of my life from a young age — my father worked in civil engineering, mainly on bridges and roads, and would regularly bring me to site investigations and let me sit in on his project meetings. Watching how engineers coordinate teams, manage contracts, and get infrastructure built is what drew me to the field, and that early exposure still shapes how I approach problems today.

I'm completing a Bachelor of Civil Engineering at RMIT University while working at CTC Construction and Supplies as liaison officer and design drafter. Having worked across both the Philippine and Australian construction industries, I understand how differently the two operate — in documentation standards, procurement processes, and professional culture — and I find that dual perspective genuinely useful. I'm curious, not afraid to ask questions, and comfortable acknowledging what I still have to learn.

I regularly attend PCA (Philippine Contractors Association) professional seminars with industry practitioners, Engineers Australia events, major annual engineering expos, and RMIT Club engineering and management events, seminars, and networking sessions — and I actively integrate AI tools into my engineering and development work — not just to save time, but to think through problems differently, streamline how I work, and find simpler, smarter solutions.

Experience — In Detail

Liaison Officer, Design Drafter & Estimator
CTC Construction & Supplies · Full-time · Manila, Philippines
  • Manage contractor licensing, regulatory compliance, and government procurement as liaison officer — including PCAB accreditation, PhilGEPS registration and bid submissions, and project certification requirements for DPWH tendering
  • Produce 2D and 3D construction drawings in AutoCAD and Revit under lead engineer direction — structural plans, cross-sections, site layouts, as-built documentation, and 3D models
  • Work primarily to Australian (AS 1100) drafting conventions; apply DPWH formats for Philippine government projects when required
  • Assist with drawing revisions, as-built updates, and document filing across concurrent infrastructure contracts
  • Leverage AI-assisted workflows to streamline drafting documentation, cross-referencing, and task tracking — reducing manual overhead across concurrent contracts
Engineering Intern
Ararat Rural City Council · Paid Work Experience · Ararat, VIC, Australia
  • Assessed condition of bridges and road pavements across municipal sites — recording defect classifications, surface ratings, and maintenance recommendations
  • Produced AutoCAD drawings for a proposed subdivision road: horizontal and vertical alignment, cross-sections, cut/fill profiles, and stormwater drainage
  • Operated within the council's engineering review cycle from field inspection through to drawing submission

Commissioned Work

Commissioned Developer
Local Government Unit · Northern Samar, Philippines
  • Commissioned to design and build an offline-first PWA for LGU census operations — full capability in remote low-connectivity areas using Service Workers and IndexedDB
  • Features: household classification, intake forms, family structure recording, supervisor dashboards, and complete audit trail
  • Deployed to production; actively used by field enumerators across Northern Samar barangays during live census operations
